Kim Pardini-Kiely, RN, MS

Vice President, Quality and Effectiveness

Kim Pardini-Kiely has been with Stanford Hospital & Clinics since 2006 and is the Vice President, Quality and Effectiveness.  Kim is responsible for ensuring that we are continually improving the delivery of patient care, creating a culture of patient safety, and achieving the highest level of clinical performance.  The design of systems and processes to drive clinical effectiveness has resulted in positioning SHC as a leader in Quality and Safety.

Prior to joining SHC, Kim was the Chief Operating Officer for Kaiser Permanente, Fremont Medical Center.  In that role she developed and implemented strategies to change the organizational culture which resulted in improved efficiency, service excellence, and operational effectiveness.   Kim has held a number of executive level positions in patient care services, quality, and in clinical resource management throughout the bay area.

Kim received her BS in Nursing in 1979 from Westminster College and her Master’s in Physiological Nursing from UCSF in 1987.
