U.S. News Best Regional Hospital
Stanford Hospital & Clinics has been ranked #1 in San Jose, CA, in U.S. News & World Report's first-ever Best Hospitals metro area rankings. This new ranking is the largest expansion of Best Hospitals to date, offering patients and their families' information regarding top performing hospitals within their metro area. Stanford Hospital & Clinics was ranked nationally in 14 of the 16 specialties, including Cancer, Heart & Heart Surgery and Orthopedics. Read more.

Stanford was one of 65 hospitals nationwide to receive this recognition out of nearly 1,200 reviewed. Through its annual Leapfrog Hospital Survey, hospitals across the country are rated on a range of quality and safety practices that all hospitals should follow. Read the press release.
