Current Research Interests
My research interests include social determinants of health, international health policy, pulmonary infectious diseases, and strategic planning for global health catastrophes.
My research team collaborates with Stanford colleagues in the Center for Health Policy / Center for Primary Care and Outcomes Research (CHP-PCOR), the Division of Infectious Disease, the Department of Management Science and Engineering, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We use mathematical modeling, decision analysis, prognostic modeling, multivariate logistic regression, cost-effectiveness analysis, and meta-analysis to examine and design pandemic influenza mitigation strategies.
