  • Description:  SIC is a non-governmental organization committed to limiting the impact of HIV/AIDS in underserved communities and to training future leaders in international development. SIC offers structured 8 and 12 week volunteer programs open to students and recent alumni of Arizona State University, the Claremont Colleges, Stanford University, the University of Arizona, UCLA, the University of Florida, and the University of Southampton (UK). They may also accept applications from students at other selected Universities. The focus of their programs is teaching community members and school children how to protect themselves from HIV and how to care for those who are already infected by AIDS.
