Dr. Aurora is excellent.
Professional , but friendly enough that I felt I could talk to her and she would do her utmost to help with my issue
We are going to meet and talk about provider's efforts to include me in decisions about treatment. I would have liked paperwork explaining side effects etc., of medication used - didn't think of it at the time. It was a very fast appointment. I would have liked a few more minutes. Hopefully I'll feel better about the providers after we talk.
The hand-offs and communication between the team members was excellent. Almost no down-time between providers, if any. It was clear that I was a valued member of the team and options for treatment.
I learned things about migrainoids that I never knew!!!
Dr. Aurora was exceptionally professional, informed, and caring. Great Doctor!
They didn't push me into anything and they were so friendly. I felt listened to and finally heard
Dr. Aurora is excellent.
it felt kind of rushed
Most of my time was spent with another doctor (a resident shadowing or learning from my doctor). I understand it is a learning hospital, but the doctor that I chose to treat my issue was only in the room for maybe five minutes. They were both very friendly and helpful, I just wish I had more time with Doctor Aurora.
Dr. Aurora spent less than five minutes with me. She had a big smile on her face as she explained that I can expect to be in terrible pain for the next twelve months. After driving several hours to seek her expertise, this was very disappointing.
they always spend the perfect amount of time with me. Also always interact with my daughter, who accompanies me there. So professional, nice and just an awesome team.
I come to Dr Aurora for her expertise in treatment of migraines but she always seems rushed and pretty indifferent. Has never really seemed too concerned about me as a patient/person.
While Dr. Aurora is courteous and friendly, I don't feel like she actually cares all that much about my well-being. She gives opportunities to ask questions, yet she sometimes has a dismissive tone and I feel that she is in a rush. I have had pain unabated for years, even after various medications and botox, and it doesn't seem that there's any thinking outside of usual protocols. I would not recommend her, though on the positive side, the ability to get through to the office is always good.
Dr. seem very good about my condition. Very helpful.
did not spend enough time this visit to allow me to fully express my concerns and questions, but did address most of them.
I appreciated how personable Dr. Aurora was.
Dr. Aurora really knows her stuff when it comes to Cluster Headache. I really appreciate the time she spent with me and the prescriptions she wrote for me. Way better than my last neurologist and the staff is better too.
After waiting for 1.5 hours, I finally saw the Dr. The Dr. was rushed and just told me that she'd switch my medication and if that didn't work, to email her in a few weeks. No explanation as to why the new med would be better or that apparently it was sublingual vs. a tablet. I had to ask about taking it concurrently with another med - that should have been advised. Did not want to hear how my migraines have been presenting differently since the last visit although a 1st year resident has taken notes earlier. Dismissed my desire to talk about additional treatment modalities such as lifestyle modifications, including dietary changes. I wanted to understand the role of diagnostic in the event the migraines were caused by something more significant that "stress." Her simple response was that it was "unlikely I had a tumor"! I will never go back to see her. What a waste of time.
Did not discuss any medication at this consult -
Dr. Aurora is knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly.
care is great, timeline is great...expecially since I drive 6 hrs to get to you.
Experience with Dr. Aurora and Dr. McCareley - excellent.
I think that Dr Aurora is fantastic and one of the best doctors that I have had the pleasure of getting care from.
This doctor is not experienced enough at all period!!
She was incredible!!
Always a very positive experience.
Dr. Aurora is a great neurologists; best one I have seen, she has helped me tremendously.
Dr. Aurora asked NOTHING about migraines. She lectured me about smoking, my weight, and insisted I use Botox.
Dr. Aurora - good. RN - fair.
Doctor seems arrogant - Has not included me in decisions in the past.
Dr. Sheena Aurora goes above & beyond the needs of my care in migraine control. A true asset!
2 lines can not cover it! Within 20 minutes the doctor knew the disease I had. I have had this for 7 years & was misdiagnosed. Mostly, to be treated with such care and respect was a miracle!
