Infection Control H1N1 Update - NEW
Influenza Information for Patients
SHC is closely following the H1N1 flu situation. To answer questions that you or your patients may have about seasonal flu and H1N1, we’ve established the following Website in partnership with LPCH and the SoM: http://www.stanfordmedicine.org/flu/. All staff and physicians must comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedure to minimize the risk of transmission of nosocomial infections to patients and personnel.
On this Website, you can access videos and links to information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Examples of videos include handwashing tips, flu symptoms; how to care for someone who has the flu; precautions for pregnant women and children; when to see your doctor. Information is also available in Spanish.
