Department of Graduate Medical Education Location & Hours
We are located on the fourth floor of the Hospital in room HC435. Please feel free to stop by. Our hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm or by appointment.
Orientation
House Staff orientation will be held on June 19, 2009 (for interns) and June 30, 2009 (for residents and fellows) from 7:45am - 3:00pm in the Dean's Courtyard at the Medical School, room M108. You are required to attend one of the sessions.
If you are leaving a residency training program and cannot attend either orientation please notify the Department of Graduate Medical Education at (650) 723-5948. You will not be allowed to start training without completion of the orientation process.
Welcome Reception A welcome reception is planned for July for all incoming house staff. Helen and Peter Bing sponsor an Easter Egg hunt, Halloween party and holiday buffet. Please feel free to come as a single to these events (many residents do).
I hope to get to know each of you personally in the coming year. Best wishes on the start of your training at Stanford Hospital.
