Therapeutic Endoscopy: A Hands-on Course for Nurses and Technicians
This course will provide a comprehensive update on the current state of the art of interventional endoscopy with an emphasis on skills that an endoscopy nurse or technician needs to be highly effective in the interventional endoscopy suite.
The course will include lectures by medical staff and nurses from Stanford’s endoscopy department summarizing recent advances in interventional endoscopy.
An expanded hands-on session will enable participants to learn valuable techniques and equipment required for endoscopy nursing.
By the end of day, attendees will gain an improved understanding of the role of interventional endoscopy in the management of complex gastrointestinal disease and new knowledge to assist in interventional endoscopy suite.
