THE ST. MICHAEL TRIO — CLASSICAL & CONTEMPORARY PIANO, VIOLIN & CELLO
Their repertoire spans the classics to contemporary, including the jazz greats and their own arrangements
of popular and even rock tunes. Their hallmark is mixing all of it into a single concert. They make their concerts interesting, funny, and thoroughly accessible, engaging audiences in the music in a way few performers can.

STEVEN ESPANIOLA — HAWAIIAN MUSIC
Prepare to be transported to the Islands as these wonderfully melodic tunes are performed on the slack
key guitar accompanied by Steven’s masterful presentation of the Hawaiian falsetto vocal style. It’s rare
when an artist arrives on the scene offering a refreshing new spin on a traditional genre of music. Steven
Espaniola is that artist. Though an accomplished musician, Steven continues to grow as a humble student
of Hawaiian music while contributing to perpetuate its legacy for future generations. In 2007 Steven’s
musical efforts earned him the recognition of “New Artist of the Year” at the Hawaii Music Awards.

Wednesday, March 9, 12:30 pm

LES CAMPAGNARDS — FRENCH COUNTRY MUSIC
Traditional dance music of the French countryside, little known even in Paris, featuring bagpipe. Not widely known, the French have the richest tradition of bag piping in Europe. Other traditional instruments will be featured as well while dancers demonstrate the lively Bourree from Berry.
