Managed Care Contracts At Stanford Hospital & Clinics
| Stanford Hospital and Clinics (SHC) contracts with most Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO) and Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO) for hospital services. HMO members other than Cigna may only see Stanford Hospital and Clinics physicians by referral from the PCP/medical group. SHC also participates in government programs such as Medicare and Medi-Cal.
