February 2012 Upgrade FAQ - Clinical Staff

An upgrade from Epic 2009 to 2010 will occur on February 1, 2012. There will be minimal downtime for this upgrade and it will be no different than the usual downtime for routine system updates.  We anticipate the upgrade to occur between 1 am and 5 am on February 11, 2012

This upgrade is different than previous one in that it has been divided into a technical and functional component. The February 12 upgrade will be the technical upgrade. There will be relatively few noticeable changes to the system initially.  Over the next six months, functional changes will be rolled out.
