Training - For Managers
All staff at Stanford are required to complete training in advance of receiving access to the Epic system.
Managers are required to register their staff for Epic training.
The goal is for all staff to be pre-registered for training. This will ensure that accurate and timely reports can be produced, thereby expediting the process to get your staff's logins so they can begin working.
Registration Process
- Manager submits an online Access Request Form.
- Manager registers new staff member for appropriate training class or e-learning. Refer to Curriculum for Non-Providers for class listings.
- Once registered, staff will receive an automated email confirmation from the Learning Management System (LMS) with class date, time, location and directions.
- When the staff member has completed all required training, they will receive Epic access within 48 hours.
