Downtime Procedures
To minimize interruptions to patient care during a planned or unplanned Epic downtime, Stanford Hospital & Clinics developed a Downtime Policy for when the system is non-operational. This policy presents the overall downtime and recovery procedures that Epic users should follow in the event that the system is temporarily unavailable.
