Ambulatory Care Steering Committee (ACSC)
The role of the Ambulatory Care Steering Committee is to:
- Direct the clinic rollout of the Epic implementation
- Ensure that adequate sponsorship and advocacy enables the success of the project
- Be the deciding voice for issues that are precedent setting or have relevance to more than one clinic
- Ensure the coordination of all Epic-related activities, such that touch points with clinic staff is minimized, yet effective
- Evaluate and weigh in on the scope of ‘support systems/ancillary tools with regard to the Epic roll out
- Align implementation with the goals of the SHC organization
- Provide leadership oversight in the decision-making processes that affect non-go-live clinics
