Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (PAs, NPs, CRNAs), and Medical Students
This information applies to all providers who receive dictation numbers through the Medical Staff Office (MSO), including Attending Physicians, Residents and Fellows, Advanced Practice Providers (PAs, NPs, CRNAs), and Medical Students.
Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers and Medical Students are assigned eLearning once the MSO has notified EpiCenter University of new medical staff. Training is assigned based on department and section, with the exception of Medical Students, who will receive a more generalized training.

An automated email is sent when the training has been assigned with login instructions

Once your assigned Epic training is complete in Healthstream, Epic access will be granted by Access Control within 48 hours
Registering for and Completing Training:

Log into the SHC Healthstream Learning Center.

Username: Your user ID is "md-" followed by your 6 digit dictation number (add leading zeroes if your number is not 6 digits). For dictation number "123, the user ID would be "md-000123".

Password: Your initial password is your user ID.
- Your assigned training is listed under “My Learning” on your Healthstream homepage.

Be sure to complete all of the courses in the curriculum assigned to you.
Once your assigned Epic training is complete in Healthstream, Epic access will be granted by Access Control within 48 hours.
