- Connecting to free shuttles from transit stations and nearby stops to reach Stanford
Additionally, you may find drivers or passengers going your way through free public ridematching services: Zimride or 511. Stanford affiliates with a Stanford email address can find others at Stanford with whom to carpool or vanpool by using Stanford's free ride-matching services.
Hospital employees
Benefits-eligible Hospital employees are eligible to receive a Caltrain Go Pass and a VTA Eco Pass, which allow free unlimited travel on those transit systems. Visit the Parking & Transportation Services website for more information on the Go Pass/Eco Pass programs. Eligible Hospital employees are also encouraged to join the Stanford Commute Club. Commute Club members can earn up to $300 a year in Clean Air Cash or Carpool Credit, help reduce vehicle emissions, and enjoy the benefits of a less stressful commute.
