Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy

Bartlett

Blake Bartlett, Pharm.D.

Received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California Davis in 2004.  He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 2009. He completed his fourth year clinical rotations at UCSF Medical Center, San Francisco General Hospital, and VA Medical Center in San Francisco.  His professional interests include critical care and infectious disease.

Carlton

Sean Carlton, Pharm.D.

Received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Virginia and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.  He completed his clinical rotations at VCU Medical Center, Georgetown Hospital, and Virginia Hospital Center. His professional interests include critical care and infectious disease.

Connor

Jim Connor, Pharm.D.

Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Riverside. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of California, San Diego. He completed his fourth year rotations at UCSD Medical Center and Naval Medical Center.  He has an interest in intensive care, cardiology, and infectious disease.

Lee

Roy Lee, Pharm.D.

Roy received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2004 and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of California, San Diego in 2009. He completed his fourth year clinical rotations at UCSD Medical Center, San Diego Naval Medical Center, and San Diego Hospice & The Institute for Palliative Medicine. His current interests lie in critical care and solid organ transplant.

McDowell

Scott McDowell, Pharm.D.

Scott received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia, College of Pharmacy in Athens, Georgia. He completed his clinical rotations at the Medical College of Georgia, Eisenhower Army Medical Center, and Solvay Pharmaceuticals. Some of his professional interests include cardiology, infectious disease, pharmacoeconomics, and diabetes management.

Tran

Huyen Tran Tran, Pharm.D.

Huyen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology from the University of California, Davis and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed her fourth year clinical rotations at Stanford Hospital and Clinics, Highland Hospital, and Kaiser Permanente San Jose. Her interests lie in hematology/oncology and infectious disease.

Connor

Michelle Ho, Pharm.D.

Received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Pacific. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Stanford  Hospital and Clinics and pursuing specialty training in Hematology/Oncology. Her professional interests include hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant. Her residency project will evaluate concurrent chemotherapy with tyrosine kinase inhibitors in Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Philadelphia chromosome positive. She will also be developing a medication assistance program at Stanford.

Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) Critical Care Resident

Michelle Ho

Russell Mason, Pharm.D.

Russell earned his Pharm.D. from the University of California, San Diego in 2008. He has a Bachelor's degree in chemistry from San Diego State University. He completed his PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics in Salt Lake City, Utah before returning to California to pursue further training in critical care at Stanford Hospitals and clinics.

PGY2 Drug Information Resident

Anahita Afshar

Anahita Afshar, Pharm.D.

Received her Pharm.D. from Howard University of District of Columbia. She completed her general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC. She then worked at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia. Her professional interest is Drug Information. Her residency project will focus on off-label dosing recommendations from a drug information center.
