Residency Application Procedures
Thank you for considering Stanford's PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program.
The application deadline is Friday, January 8, 2010. NO applications will be accepted beyond this date.

- Possess a Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school or college of pharmacy
- Obtain licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of California before September 1, 2010 of residency: http://pharmacy.ca.gov
- Participate in an on-site interview at Stanford Hospital & Clinics
Application Submittal
- Interested applicants must complete the online application process.
Step 1) Access Web site
Step 2) Create an account
Step 3) Under Search by Job Number, enter 15760 and click Find Job
Step 4) Follow the instructions on the Web site
Under the resume section, please attach the following documents:
- Personal statement (minimum 250-500 words)
- Outline career goals, areas of interest and reasons for applying to the residency program at Stanford Hospital & Clinics

- Curriculum Vitae
Step 5) When finished, click submit
Letters of Recommendation:
- Please submit three letters of recommendation to StanfordPGY1@stanfordmed.org
- Please ask your recommenders to complete an online recommendation evaluation form
- Please also ask your recommenders to mail a signed hard copy of the recommendation materials to:

Selected applicants will be required to visit Stanford Hospital & Clinics for an on-site interview in February. For consideration, the online application and all supporting documentations must be received by January 8, 2010.
On-Site Interview
- After review of application materials by the residency committee, applicants will be contacted for a three hour on-site interview
- Interviews will be conducted on the following days only:
- February 22, 2010
- February 24, 2010
- February 26, 2010
