The $25 million clinic is outfitted with the latest equipment, including two new PET/CT scanners and a new cardiac scanner that produces a three-dimensional image of the blood supply to the heart in only 4-6 minutes, compared to the 20-24 minutes it took the old machine. The clinic also will house developing technologies that promise to revolutionize the field of medical imaging.
