Arrival and Parking

Emergency Department. Valet parking is available. As you approach the Stanford Hospital, you will see blue signs directing you to the Emergency Department.
Please note that the entrance to the Emergency Department is located at the back of the hospital, not the front of the hospital where the fountains are located.
If you are pregnant, please read this to learn where to go for care.
If the patient is a child, proceed directly to the Stanford Emergency Department for services. Do not go to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (on Welch Road), because they do not provide emergency care. Emergency care for children is provided within a special area for children as part of the Stanford Emergency Department.
You may leave your car for a limited time in the emergency parking lot. Valet parking is available for $8 from 8 AM to 8 PM seven days a week. If you leave after 8 PM and your car is with the valet, security personnel will assist you in retrieving your vehicle.

Metered parking is available in Parking Structure 1, located across the street from the Emergency Department Entrance. After 4 PM, parking is free in the same structure.
