For Patients
Welcome to the Stanford Emergency Department. We provide care for serious medical emergencies, as well as for minor injuries and illnesses for children and adults. Our Pediatric Emergency Department is located within the Stanford Emergency Department and is affiliated with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.

Guest Services is available 24 hours a day in the Emergency Department lobby. The Guest Services representative wears a red blazer and can help you with everything from where to find food in the hospital to arranging for transportation home. Guest Services is here to help you and your family both during and after your visit.
