Richard L. Goode, MD
Chief of Otolaryngology, VA Medical Center
Dr. Goode is Professor of Otolaryngology at Stanford University School of Medicine. His medical school training was at the University of Southern California School of Medicine and he received his Otolaryngology training at Stanford, where he remained on the faculty after completing his residency.
In addition to his practice at Stanford Medical Center, he serves as Chief of Otolaryngology at the Palo Alto V.A. Medical Center.
He has published over 150 papers in the field and is a past President of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Goode has a broad interest of practice but particularly is interested in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with emphasis on nasal reconstruction.
He also specializes in surgical treatment of sleep disorders, particularly obstructive sleep apnea and surgery for the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck tumors.
He also is interested in the rehabilitation of facial nerve injuries, sinus and voice surgery.
