As one of the largest and most complex organs in your body, the liver plays an essential role in your quality of life. At Stanford Hospital’s Liver Transplant Program, we are committed to the comprehensive and lifelong care of your liver illness.
This involves early diagnosis of liver disease, staging, and innovative treatment options. Our multidisciplinary team offers advanced procedures in hepatology, medical oncology, transplantation, interventional radiology, and radiation oncology (including CyberKnife therapy) to provide you with a full range of personalized patient care.
Since our program began in 1991, our transplant team has exceeded national patient and liver survival rates and developed new clinical techniques for the long-term success of our patients.
Outcomes
Stanford ranks among the top transplant centers in the nation. Our Liver Transplant Program has consistently exceeded national patient and liver survival rates at the one- and three-year marks after transplantation (SRTR - July 2010). More »
