Most patients are referred to the kidney transplant program at Stanford by their nephrologist or dialysis unit. We also accept self-referrals.  Your physician will request an evaluation by one of Stanford's transplant specialists. 

Your previous medical records will be reviewed and additional testing may be required in order to fully assess your condition.

Surgical Specialties Clinic

Pre transplant and post-transplant patients are seen by our medical team at the Surgical Specialties Clinic. It is located on the first floor at Stanford Hospital & Clinics.

Once you enter the main entrance, turn right and look for the clinic on the left hand side of the hallway - suite A160.

Thursday, 8:30am - 11:30am

Pre transplant evaluations are conducted at the following times:

Monday, 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Tuesday, 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Wednesday, 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Wellness Clinic is conducted at the following times:

Wednesday 9 - 11:30am
