Vascular Laboratory
The Stanford Vascular Laboratory is a specialized diagnostic facility that is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).
The Vascular Laboratory's purpose is to serve health care providers and their patients by utilizing advanced, noninvasive, diagnostic, medical ultrasound technology while ensuring high quality results.
Examinations are performed by clinically skilled Registered Vascular Technologists with specialized training.

Direct Testing (Duplex Imaging)
- Carotid Duplex, extracranial
- Arterial - Lower extremity Duplex, native or graft
- Venous - Duplex, upper or lower extremity
- Venous - Duplex, IVC & Iliac
- Abdominal - Aorta/Iliac native artery or graft duplex
- Abdominal - AAA stent graft assessment
- Abdominal - Mesenteric arterial duplex
- Abdominal - Renal Parenchyma and arterial duplex
- AAA screening - Patients must meet criteria of SAAAVE Act
Indirect Testing (NON-Imaging)
- Arterial - ABI (Ankle Brachial Index) with waveforms
- Arterial - Segmental pressures and waveforms (P&W's), upper or lower extremity
- Arterial - Treadmill with arterial pressures
- Arterial - TOS assessment (thoracic outlet syndrome) Pressures & arterial waveforms (P&W's), with maneuvers
