At Stanford Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial Surgery we are dedicated to ensuring individualized quality patient care and customized treatment planning. We treat a variety of conditions including corrective jaw surgery, removal of third molars, cysts/ lesions, sleep apnea and craniofacial reconstruction with bone grafting and dental implant based rehabilitation. As oral maxillofacial surgeons we are trained to help patients that have suffered facial trauma.

Virtual reality planning in reconstructive trauma surgery

The goal of this research is to develop a computational tool to plan interventions for reconstructive trauma surgery, as opposed to the traditional use of physical models.
