Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

The Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) offers a wide spectrum of services dedicated to managing various disabilities and assisting patient to reach their maximal functional outcome.

Our doctors are experienced physiatrists (physicians who are Board certified in the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) with subspecialties in the medical rehabilitation of various injuries and disabilities, including musculoskeletal and sports injuries as well as catastrophic injuries and neuromuscular diseases.

All of our physicians have one or more additional Board certifications in other related subspecialties. All are actively involved in cutting-edge protocols for management of physical disabilities.

Outpatient Clinic

Evaluation of musculoskeletal injuries, neuromuscular diseases, traumatic injuries, and complications form various diseases (i.e., spasticity, neurogenic pain) are treated by physiatrists in the clinic using conservative management techniques such as specific therapy prescriptions, medications, and injections. 

Medical acupuncture is also offered as an alternative for pain management. 

Interventional Spine/Pain Clinic

The PM&R Interventional Spine/Pain Clinic is a non-surgical outpatient program focusing on pain management, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of neck and low back, hip, shoulder, and neuropathic pain syndromes, such as spine and musculoskeletal medicine and diagnostic and therapeutic spine injection procedures such as:

The Sports Medicine Program offers a complete range of outpatient services, focusing on non-surgical care of injuries related to exercise and sport such as:
