Interventional Spine Program
(non-surgical interventions)

Operating within the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), the Interventional Spine Program is an outpatient program focusing on the conservative and non-operative management of neck, back, hip, shoulder, and neuropathic pain syndromes using medication and injection therapies. Headed by Dr. Raj Mitra, the program's emphasis is on restoring function and alleviating pain. The program is unique in offering a full continuum of services from evaluation and diagnosis to custom physical therapy and medication.
