Stanford Preventive Cardiology
We offer an integrated approach to patient care, including comprehensive risk assessment and treatment for all cardiovascular risk factors. The Stanford Familial Coronary Risk/Familial Hypercholesterolemia Clinic (FH) is a special focus within the Preventive Cardiology Clinic for patients and family members with strong risk factors or early-onset coronary disease. Our services include:
- Comprehensive evaluation and effective treatment strategies to slow or stop the progression of atherosclerosis
- Individualized action plans to determine the optimal approach for each patient, including lifestyle interventions and medications, as needed
- Counseling and education to promote a heart-healthy lifestyle
