The Stanford Amyloid Center's central mission is to provide state-of-the-art treatment for patients with amyloidosis. Our center provides a multidisciplinary approach to the care of our patients – with comprehensive evaluations by physicians of every required subspecialty. Each member of our team is highly experienced in the care of patients with amylodosis and is committed to a coordinated-care approach for all patients.
In addition to our central mission, the Stanford Amyloid Center is actively leading and participating in clinical trials in amyloidosis, which many of our patients may be eligible for. We also actively play a role in the education of patients, family members, and health care professionals about the disease, and work closely with amyloid support groups.
