You will receive a comprehensive disease assessment at the Stanford University Amyloid Center to determine what therapeutic options are best for you. In addition, you may see physicians in other specialties depending on your amyloid subtype and which organs have amyloid deposits.

New Patients
To make the scheduling process easier and more efficient, please have the following copies of records prior to scheduling an appointment with our Center if possible:
- Recent labs (including but not limited to serum free light chains, SPEP, UPEP)
- Pathology reports from all biopsies related to the amyloid diagnosis
- Recent clinical notes from any physician involved with the amyloid diagnosis
- Copy of echocardiogram report (if applicable)
Records can be faxed to: (650) 725-1927. You should also fill out the registration form and fax it along with your records. Once you have faxed the items above, please call (650) 725-6186 to make an appointment.
